When I first began night shift a couple years ago, I frantically searched the web for ANYTHING–any blogs or websites that would give me advice or a heads up of what to do or what to expect. Hell, I probably would have rubbed butter on my forehead and spun around in circles 5 times before every shift if a website said so. But, I was disheartened to find nothing. This was the reason I wanted to begin this blog. I want to be able to share my experience and my advice with fellow night shifters.
Keep in mind, I STILL struggle every so often. There are nights I go to work running on only 2-4 hours of sleep after tossing and turning in bed all day.
That being said, I do not have the secret answer to become a night shift conqueror, but I have learned things based on experience that I hope will help. They have helped me to lessen the struggle and continue to have the energy and motivation to work out 5-6 days a week while consuming a proper and balanced nutrition.
